Trip to Carolina

We went to the Liberty Antique Festival with Grandpa and Uncle J. Got a little wet but I bought a pretty cool Trilobite fossil (early horseshoe crab.) About the size of a 50 cent piece.
It was an honor to meet the man that baptized my mom, dad, and 3 oldest siblings over 30 years ago into the LDS Church. He was visiting the same time I was. It was awesome to meet him and thank him for helping bring the gospel to our family.
The Beach was amazing as always. Sunrise was perfect. For some reason Charlotte was up every morning at 6am. It helped us get an early start to our day.

Playing with cousin on the beach all day! They sure slept good at night!

Mom and I had fun dressing Charlotte up. I think she enjoyed it too.
We were very grateful to see my grandma again. She's such an amazing lady and still going strong at 96 years young!!
My bro and I went to Virginia and stayed at the same little hole in the wall hotel we would stay in as kids. It was quite the trip with a 1 year old and twin 5 year old boys!

We stopped by the Dixie Classic Fair on the way home. May we have a moment of silence for the footlong, handdipped corndog? It was SERIOUSLY the best I've ever had.
I took this pic of a sign selling "fried butter"! That's the south for ya!!
Last of all, Charlotte getting a little tipsy on the plane ride home. It's hard flying with a youngen by yourself but with a little prayer, lots of toys and snacks, we survived and were sooo glad to see daddy when we got off the plane.

1 Year pics!

I swear I just posted her 9 month pictures. This year has gone by so fast and it's seriously been one of the best years of my life! My sis in law Emily did a great job once again taking Charlotte's picture. Charlotte was all over the place that day but ya can't tell by looking at the pictures. Thank you Em!

And last but not least, there is always the "I've Had Enough" picture.

Demolition Derby!

We headed down to Spanish Fork this weekend to visit Ken and Nat. We also enjoyed the Utah County Fair and a sold out Demolition Derby! It was a good show, Charlotte's first. She got a bear thrown to her! We had a fun visit. Thanks Ken and Nat!!

House Makeover!

I love love before and after pics especially when it's our house! It's been alot of fun and work but very worth it. Thanks to help from friends and family we were able to move in last week. We love it!

Marc's favorite room.

Our bedroom is my favorite.

We decided to get new doors for the cabinets instead of replacing them all together. They aren't up yet but I think they'll look awesome.

It's amazing what some paint and new carpet can do.

Happy Birthday to you!!

She wasn't interested in the cake but a popsicle suited her just fine instead.

She actually wore the Strawberry Shortcake Hat through opening all her presents.

She LOVED being sung to and the flame on the cake but was a fan of the smoke. She had a wonderful birthday and I'm soo grateful to have celebrated it with her!! That was the fastest year ever!

Happy 1st Birthday!!

This is Charlotte's Happy Dance.

Funny Parker

My Nephew in Arizona is 2 years old and hilarious! He kept walking around saying, "ya wanna piece of me?! Huh?! Huh?! Ya, ya. " It's even funnier because he doesn't really know what it means. We cracked up every time.

First Steps

I thought I should post this taken in North Carolina back at the first of May.  I was lucky enough to have the camera going at the perfect time. Amazing how much faster she is now compared to only 2 months ago.

Water Baby

She's ready for a real pool!

Dancing Baby!

I couldn't wait and had to give her one birthday present early. Now she carries it around with her. I've never seen a kid dance so much! She loves to bob her head, go in circles and stomp her feet.
