We are painting our basement. The paint I had picked out was callled "Carolina Inn Lobby Yellow." Well here's the lobby of the Carolina Inn!!! I about cried when I saw it. I will have a little peice of Carolina in Utah.

Carolina: week2

Where to begin! We've been going so fast I got a bad cold and so today we are taking it easy.:)

Carolina: week 1

My brothers mediorite. (I don't have spell check on this computer) :). It's only half of it! It was almost 60 pounds and this was the smaller half. Very cool.

SOOO much fun! Being with your family is the best. Eating with you family is even better. :) The Twisted Fork in Raleigh has to be my #1 Favorite place!

She's Here!

Lacey Grace arrived on August 25th weighing 7 pounds 2 ozs and 20 inches long. The birth went very well and I was able to deliver naturally like we wanted. Great experience! She is beautiful but I may be slightly partial. :)

We wanted a quick family pic so Marc set it up. It's nice to have one of all of us. She was 4 days old in the picture. Charlotte of course adores her!

Wade Lake

We all had an awesome weekend in Montana. Uncle K got a new earring.

Last weekend Marc took Charlotte camping for the night, just the two of them. She now LOVES to camp and lights up like a Christmas tree if you ask her about it.

5 Wonderful Years!!

So, last Friday marked our 5 year Anniversary! To celebrate, the plan was he would get off work a little early and we'd go to dinner. He left for work at 730am only to return a little before 8 with bagels. I said, "honey, you're gonna be late for work." He said, "get ready to leave for the zoo at 930. " He had taken the day off! Such a nice surprise! He said to pack an overnight bag too "incase" we spent the night somewhere. Well, he had already made reservations at Little America, where we stayed the night after we were sealed. We had SUCH a fun weekend. I'm so grateful for him!! Such a sweetheart.

Can you tell it was nap time? Her favorites were the elephants & tigers.

July-Finally a post!

Where did the past 2 years go?! We had a way fun pool party with the family to celebrate the best 2 years ever. Thanks to everyone that came. We had a good time.
Don't judge me by my cake. The icing didn't go on very well but it tasted good. The lesson was, "don't judge a cake by the outside."

Myrtle Beach

The beach is perfect and having so much family here is even better! Charlotte is loving the beach. She jumps over the waves and has to wash her hands off in the ocean as soon as she gets too much sand on her hands. She says, "wash off" and runs for the ocean to clean up.
She got to see daddy for the first time in 3 weeks yesterday and was ecstatic. So was I. It's good to have him back.

By being with so many cousins day in and day out she has learned to say, "my turn". Her cousin Sariah also taught her, "we will, we will, wok you." My favorite is, "flip flops" pronounced, "bib bops."

The weather is awesome. Utah better warm up before we get home. Can ya'll work on that for me? I don't want to loose my tan. :) See you all next week.
